Not Just A Gray Space

Grey walls and grey floors usually does not add up to an stunning interior, but this home's clever use of grey colours combined with many design pieces of furniture is genius.

I'm having a great time in Cambridge, met some great people & have been trying different restaurant everyday, so in short, I'm loving my new life :)

Oh and thanks to Tigerprint for the feature!

the white tub really throws off those grey walls.. I like how these pictures seem to something to counter the greyness.. personally though, grey isn't my choice for walls or walls...

Yay ah I'm so jealous you get to live in CAMBRIDGE!!!
And I like the decorations, but I'm still not too big a fan of gray. Though I love the bathroom pic.

These are beautiful...there is something so glamorous about the lighting throughout the house. Almost mystical. How's everything going over there? Hope you're doing well!

Happy to hear you're enjoying your new life :)

Those pics are pretty much like the planned colour scheme of my flat... all our walls are varying shades of grey and we have bought the grey paint for the floors. Can't wait til we have a spare weekend to get it done! :)

As much as I love the "sparkling chandelier in the bathroom" idea, I wouldn't put it directly over the tub for fear that it would somehow fall on me. No need to get into the horrifically unfortunate details- but really, not a good idea.

I looooove gray. My living room used to be gray (the shade on the walls was called platinum) with a yellow couch and dark wood accent furniture, and just a few plum accents. Your post has made me miss it so!

Kate
