Gems in Trash

Although I will never put my finest jewellery with rubbish, I do love the strong contrast & raw quality of these photos, and the ideat that gems exist in the most unlikely places is true in life.

This is gorgeous Tina... it has a sort of Grey Gardens feel to it. Imagine how thrilling it would be to find little treasures like that in the garbage... ! :)

I like the bottom left one, the black against the silver and red is striking. It even makes the rubbish seem less like trash somehow.
