Hope you're all enjoying a beautiful Sunday! xx

I love New York City!! You definitely need to be independent and confident to really enjoy it. But...oh...there are so many things to experience and admire!

I lived in Connecticut (1.5 hours away) for two years, but I only got to visit New York 5 times...sigh...

Of course, Albany is a slightly different story!

Are you just dreaming or are you serious?

hehe my husband works right across the street in that picture of that park. He works in one of those brown stone row houses. Albany has an event every year called tulipfest. I went for the first time this year- it was beautiful. You can check out my post of it...

New York is amazing. It's the only place in America that I've been. I've always felt like I should be American not British, I have this odd connection with America.

Lovely photos, I love New York, you have to go, it's bustling, busy, often overcrowded, but always interesting

beautiful visual!
I used to go to NY twice a year for work...it's been scrapped since the recession ;(
But note this: when in NYC please visit Takashimaya! I think it's the most beautiful store in the world...I'm sure you'd love it too.

I love NYC, but these picks make new york look WAYYYYY nicer than it really is. In truth the streets sometimes have a slight pee stench, most people do not dress fabulously and are fast and rude, and everything is dirty. With that said, though, there's something about the city that always makes me want to return.
