{Vintage Friday}: Beauty Vintage

It's Friday today, yah! Even though this weekend will be a rainy & grey one, I'm still so looking forward to the weekend, are you doing anything exciting? My Topshop orders arrived today so I'll be hoping to take some photos & make them into outfit posts, other than that it's just usual uni work stuff.

Thought I'd share with you this beautiful editorial feasuring some well known beauty brands/products, all shot in a gorgeous vintage style. Sometimes I have trouble finding the actual beauty product!

Notice a outline of a man in the first image? Perphas a reflection? It scared me a little the when I first saw it! :)

Quite a few perfumes were feastured, do you have a favorite scent that you love above all others? I tend to go for fresh and fruity ones, and have been switching between D&G Light Blue and Moschino I Love Love for a while now, it always reminds me of summer :)

Have a lovely weekend everyone, I'm editing some photos at the moment and will post another {Styling Luphia} outfit post tomorrow, xx

Love those shots. Remind me of my grandmother who had a vanity full of gorgeous antique perfume bottles and atomizers.

My signature scent is Jo Malone Orange Blossom. I used to wear Trish McEvoy #9 (Blackberry & Vanilla). I've tried a few new scents but none of them do it for me.
Enjoy your weekend!

Love those pics! Indeed TGI Friday ;-D - I love the decorating in the givenchy ad. My signature scent is CdG (1) but it's so hard to find! Literally Liberty and Colette. Snore. So I reserve it for special occassions lol Xxxc

This weekend I'm celebrating my friend's birthday with lots of tequilalala !

Those photos are gorgeous - and yes the man is a bit scary.

My favourite scents tend to be rich, heavy ones like Thierry Mugler's Angel and Alien and lately Dior Midnight Poison. But I do also have Moschino I love love and I wear it on dull, dreary days to cheer myself up and remind myself of summer :)

These are pretty photos. I love the pastels.

I didn't notice the man until you mentioned it. What's on the other side of that page in your magazine? Is there a pic of a man on the other side? I was thinking it could just be show-through from the back of the page.

Have a fun weekend!

Which grey coat do you mean? They're several of them in the pictures! :D

This is such a nice editorial! I'm not much of a perfume-person, but I got 'flowers' by Oilily (I believe that's the name but I'm not 100% sure) for my birthday which I tend to wear for special occasions.

D&G Light Blue is one of my staples, along with Armani White and even cK one if I can get my little hands on them! I have even been told to "move on honey" by a charming lad in a department store, but dagnammit, I like the classics! Oh and Coco Mademoiselle. Love!

i have trouble with perfume, and might need professional help! i very rarely like any, and only ones that smell like jasmine. then sometimes i think they smell differently in the bottle than they do on me. weird.

sorry for babbling!

hope you have a fantastic weekend! and maybe the sun will come out for ya!
