How to dress like a goddess? After seeing the stunning dresses at Versace Atelier, the answer was simple to me: wear one of these dresses!
I found myself in love with both the dresses and the amazing sketches
Of course I can't talk about heavenly dresses without mentioning Marchesa, their Fall 2009 collection is just gorgeous, enjoy my dears! The dresses might be ridiculously expensive, but a girl can dream right? ;)

I have always loved atelier versace and thought it was totally underrated! The dresses are so beautifully built.
And Marchesa is always lovely. The purple on the right in the middle row is to die for.
love xx
now now now, omg, lol. I can't imagine how to make such gowns, oooh-la-la...
They are sooo pweeetyyy x) and yet, I still can't find a way to use them in normal life, lol.
If someday I go to campus with that kind of gown, what do you think would happen? Hahaha...
My, oh my...how gorgeous!
I love seeing designer sketches and how they're brought to life with the real deal. These dresses are gorgeous. They make me wish I had somewhere uber swanky to go... and the money to buy one to wear to aforementioned uber swanky event. ;)
that very first dress looks like a modern day cinderella dress. i'd take that any day of the week!
I love all of the dresses
Magnificent ... every last one of them.
The Marchesa dresses are truly beautiful, they have a magical feel of their own, xv.

Oh my stars! I LOVE the first dress and also the 6th one. I love the billows - how dreamy.

WOW!! those were jaw dropping gorgeous!
Aaaah is it strange that I like the sketches more than the actual dresses? Haha. Beautiful x
these gowns are absolutely breathtaking...too bad i'll never be able to afford one, haha! do you do any sketching yourself?
Oh my goodness....I think that my heart just skipped a beat! Wonderful choices...they are all so beautiful! You just made my Monday!
Those dresses are tailored beautifully! And yes, I do agree some carbs wouldn't hurt a little! :)
i love how some of the models pose exactly like the girl in the sketch!
Those gowns are absolutely stunning! They're like wedding cakes with lots of icing...which is why they look good on those pencil thin models. BTW, you have the right figure to pull off gowns like those, moi...they'll have to use lots more fabric!

its amazing how such intense drawings can come to life through textiles. Dresses like that make me believe fashion is an art.
I can't decide what I like more, the drawings or the actual dresses themselves. I could look at these pretty things all day!

Georgina Chapman of Marchesa is on the cover of this month's Town and Country magazine, and she's just as fabulous as her clothes. I think she might even sleep in ball gowns and high heels. :)

GORGEOUS GORGEOUS GORGEOUS!!! It is a constant tragedy to me that I will likely never get to wear anything even remotely as beautiful as these dresses. I'm saving this post so I can look at it and sigh wistfully later :)
Wow, I love how you included the sketches so that we could see the idea that was first presented and then how it was actually turned out. I wish more blogs would do that.

The Versace ones are always so beautifully romantic and done well.
Those Versace drawings are spectacular.
i cant believe how amazingly those sketches translated into the real thing. gorgeous!
