The Adventure of a Girl In Blue

If I was good with words, I would write a beautiful little adventure story of this girl in a blue dress. Since that's not going to happen, I invite you all to imagine your own story :)

Feel free if you want to share with me your lovely story too :)

Most of you have probably already seen the new collection of computer wallpapers on Kindred, just in case you haven't, here's a couple of my favorites, by the talented FIFI LAPIN & HEATHER of Creature Comforts:

I would definitely switch if I wasn't using my own wallpaper, even though it's no way near as good as these, but becasue I made it myself I'm kinda attached to it, you know the feeling? :)

Just in case you're interested, you can get this one here on 1024X768 1280X1024 1600X1200.

Sorry if this is a bit of a random post, I've just got a few blog awards which I'd like to pass on.

The Lemonade Award, PROXIMITY award, Honest Award from the lovely Through The Looking Glass..., my so called fabulous life..., las pamelas and Sugar and Blush goes to:

{ With Love..., Rougemarie, Static Electri-city, Life In Technicolor., CarrieCan, The Red Otter Shop, Ambiguous Alliterative Abomination, mademoissele chic, Chic Heroin, Song of Style & ...love Maegan}

I also have to tell 10 honest things for the Honest Award, here goes:

1. I am a Maths student and will be graduating this summer
2. I am a little scared of balloons (scared they might suddenly pop!)
3. I have lived in Saudi Arabia (for 6 months when I was 13)
4. I am a bit obsessed with Seagulls (a family lives on my roof)
5. I prefer ice cream to chocolates (except when it's freezing cold!)
6. My favorite colour is blue

7. I am 5ft2
8. I had braces
9. I have worn glasses since I was 11
10. I do my money budgeting on Excel spreadsheets

xx

The Adventure of a Girl in Blue:
One day the girl in blue was taking a "trip" to her grandmothers house, who lived in the woods. She packed her red suitcase and put on her blue coat and headed out to her grandmothers. She got hungry on the way so she stopped and ate some berries. She wasn't sure about what kind of berries they were but they tasted good. anyway, she began walking again, and it started to snow. A lot! the fields were covered and she couldn't see the woods far off in the distance... she had to walk around these big snow drifts. Well, she was getting tired and cold and her feet hurt. She closed her eyes and wished real hard that the snow would melt! poof, the snow started to disappear.... then is became a bit of fog soup. She noticed the snow drift where now chairs! they were everywhere. Since she was tired she sat in one of the lovely chairs and took off her shoes.
It was a bit damp and she wished it would warm up some more, swish!
Now she was standing in the desert looking at an oasis and date trees.
She sat her suitcase on the hot sand and put her shoes back on all the while thoughts running through her head.
She was getting thirsty and wish for water..splash, she was standing infront of a like with balloons floating all around is bright colours...then she saw the man in the tall hat. He was beckoning her to come join the circus, he had the perfect side show act just for her. She was scared and closed her eyes tired and to think of happy thoughts of her grandmother, when she opened her eyes ....
swoop! she was in pretty rose garden. the smell of roses was intoxicating, she twirled around and around and around until *plop* she fell to the ground, happy and delighted to be in such a pretty place. She placed leaves in her hair and closed her eyes... the asked herself "What kind of berries did I eat!!"

The end

If you're obsessed with seagulls then you should come to Jersey.. ours are obese! they're huge and scary! I used to think they were normal then someone.. a non-Jersey bean.. pointed out that they're in fact much bigger than normal.

Thank you for the comment. If you want the skirts too then they can indeed be yours since you too are in the UK. (^_^) x

Thanks for sharing such normal Honest things, it is good to see someone not trying to only broadcast the greatest bits of their lives. Everyone has mundane honesty and sometimes that makes it that much less mundane. As for your girl in blue... even if you can't write an adventure, I am sure she is having a fantastic time in your head.
