Warm Interiors

The cold weather has made me particularly drawn to warm interiors. (yes snow is beautiful, but not so great when it melts!) These gorgeous photos by Karen Wise (more well known for her wedding photography) are exactly what I need right now, I will be dreaming of reds, warm yellows and burgundy tonight.

What interiors are you drawn to at the moment? For those of you (lucky!) people in warmer parts of the world, maybe something more light & airy? x

Mmm---loving the warm wallpapers and of course the zebra rug! Lately I'm about exploring the balance between comfy and cozy but still light and airy--a tricky combo but I think it can be done!

So cozy and warm. I especially love that bedroom on the bottom. What a great idea to use art as a headboard. Just lovely!

I love the rich without being ornate tones and pieces in these rooms. I'm drawn to clean, tropical colored and themed spaces at the moment...probably wishful thinking.

warm is always good! I have a pale yellow on the walls in my bedroom and it definitely makes the whole room look more warm and inviting.

I am really into very comfortable spaces lately with some colour.

Oh to hard for me to decide! I use love the paintings in both of the bottom rooms! I think I more drawn to that wonderful red dog/fox on the left though. How lovely!

Perfect images for me today - because you are so right - the snow is far from pretty when it starts to melt and becomes grey slush. I much prefer to stay in and look at these pretty pics, xv.

That living room is exactly to my taste. Have you ever seen Tamara Mellon on Cribs? Her house is stunning.
