Halloween Special

Halloween is a fashion trend in its own right in the autumn/winter 09 collections, with many designers have going down the soft goth look. The one which drew most of my attention is Luella's collection, perfect to share on Halloween! Love the orange statement tights (think pumpkin!) and the pointy witch hats, which gives the more wearable outfits that extra edge!

Happy Halloween everyone and have a great weekend!

Shabby chic

I love the shabby chic look, rough around the edges, some paint peeling off sounds perfect to me! Hence I love this old storage unit from Une Chanson Douce, love its industrial look as well. What does everyone think, have I gone mad? :)

Prints & Pattern

For those of you who don't know it yet, I have a massive obsession with prints. I also love the hand draw illustration style at the moment and have also always loved patterns. So guess how happy I was when I found something that combines all three of these!

I adore these beautiful prints at Swallowfield, especially the drawing on vintage text series. Hope you'll like it too!

Daisy by Marc Jacobs

I love the scent of Daisy by Marc Jacobs, it's sweet yet refreshing and natural. I'll always loved the bottle and the advertising as well. I was flicking through a magazine yesterday and came across the new advert for the fragrance (the 2nd picture), it was so cute I felt I had to share it!

Multifunctional Sideboard

I love this multifunctional sideboard from Vintage Home. I love the colour of the wood panels, the vintage design and the convenient seating on top (I'm thinking great place for my cats to nap, as long as they promise not to scratch the leather!). Actually, that lamp on top looks pretty cool too.

Love Felt

These little egg cosy bunnies are so adorable and they're functional too, wouldn't you want to take Victoria or David home?

They are from the Berlin based design house Parkhaus where you'll find all sorts of homeware made from felt. Their things are so great I think I've got a bit of a felt fever!

Vintage Friday: Part II - Mugs & Tea Towels

The Manicule is the second selling place of Lucas & Hayley's vintage goods, where it stocks mugs and tea towels with the same vintage designs used for their posters. I especially adore the mugs! (not just because I'm mug crazy...)
